GIST Global Intern Program 2018
Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) was established in 1993 by the Korean government as a research-oriented institute to foster scientific and technological achievements.
GIST has grown over the past two decades to include an ever diverse group of talented students and prominent professors from around the world with the goal of becoming a top-tier global university by 2035. As an innovative research institute, GIST ranked 3rd in the world in Citations per Faculty in the QS World University Ranking in 2017.
The institute is pleased to invite promising students to the GIST Global Intern Program 2018 which will be generously host students who are interested in science and engineering field from June 22, 2018 to August 17, 2018 (eight weeks) as an Intern.
The Global Intern Program offers students from countries around the world an opportunity to experience research at GIST by having you join a research lab for eight-weeks during the summer to receive valuable training and mentoring from the lab professor. Since 2008, over 270 international students have gained both theoretical knowledge and practical training in research through the GIP program.
