UP FEIT Among Hungary's First to Launch an Artificial Intelligence Engineering MSc Programme

Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of almost every area of life, creating a growing demand for professionals who not only know how to use AI systems but also understand and develop them. In response to this need, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs will be among the first higher education institutions in Hungary to launch an MSc programme in Artificial Intelligence Engineering starting from the 2026/2027 academic year.

Graduation Ceremony - 6th of July 2026, 9 am

The graduation ceremony of the international programmes of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Pécs will take place on Monday, 6 July 2026 Monday (9:00) in Lecture Hall A010, at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (7624 Pécs, Boszorkány Str. 2). 



Silent Architecture Workshop Celebrates a Decade of Academic Collaboration

Students at Beihai University of Art and Design recently completed the two-week Silent Architecture workshop, an intensive international design program led by Prof. Dr. Ákos Hutter, Dr Erika Vörös, Júlia Bernadett Török, and Dr Jin Xin. The workshop was jointly organised by the Institute of Architecture of the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Pécs and Beihai University of Art and Design. This year's program was opened by Prof. Dr Gabriella Medvegy, Dean of the Faculty.

MIK//KOR magazine 2026

As the 2025–2026 academic year concludes, we are pleased to announce the publication of the fifth issue of MIK//KOR, our faculty magazine highlighting the life, events, and achievements of the Faculty.
This issue presents recent developments in our academic programmes, ongoing enhancements throughout the Faculty, and the initiatives of one of our newest research groups. In keeping with the reflective nature of this publication, we also highlight the accomplishments of our students and staff over the past academic year.

RTIT >> Danube Partners Gather in Pécs for Sustainable Concrete Workshop”Region

As part of the RTIT project, a workshop and study visit dedicated to sustainable and innovative concrete materials was held in Pécs, Hungary, on March 4–5, 2026. The event took place at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), and brought together project partners and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from countries across the Danube region.

Our Faculty will host the 38th Technical Sciences Section of the National Student Research Conference

The National Student Research Conference (OTDK) is the largest student scientific event in Hungarian higher education. It provides an opportunity for the most outstanding university and college students to present their scientific research and artistic work. The national conference is held every two years and students can compete in one of 16 disciplinary fields after successful selection by a professional panel of judges at their local institutional TDK conference.
