Kengo Kuma – Minamisanriku 311 Memorial

Since 2013, Kengo Kuma has been involved in the reconstruction of Minamisanriku, a city devastated by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. The Minamisanriku 311 Memorial has become a symbol of renewal, bridging memories of the past with the future.
