The exhibition presents the results of the
project work carried out by Architecture MA and Interior and Spatial
Design MA students in the Furniture and Object Design Studio course,
with an emphasis on the different stages of the design process. In developing
the table and chair concepts, the participants covered a complex process from
conceptual thinking, through production plans, to execution. The detailed
design of the joints and the close examination of the material properties make
the creations examples of the integration of aesthetic and functional
considerations. The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the
interdisciplinary potential of furniture design and to provide an insight into
the scientific and artistic significance of detailed design and material
knowledge.
