International Platform on Architecture and Urbanism - IPAU 2024

IPAU 2024 | 3rd International Conference | FutureFrames - AI in Architecture and Urban Evolution | November 7-8, 2024, Prishtina


On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd Conference of the International Platform on Architecture and Urbanism (IPAU 2024), we invite you to participate in this scientific and professional platform for exchanging ideas and research studies. The IPAU 2024 conference will be held in hybrid mode (direct participation and/or online) at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Prishtina, November 7-8, 2024

FutureFrames opens new possibilities for showcasing ideas and plans for intelligent and responsive built environments. It represents a synergy between human creativity and technological advancement, leveraging AI to create living and working environments that not only meet the needs of today but also have the adaptability and intelligence to thrive in the future. In these terms, FutureFrames seeks to find answers to a few questions, such as:

  • What role does AI play in shaping future-ready and adaptable architectural spaces?
  • How is AI transforming the process and outcomes of architectural design in contemporary practice?
  • What are the key benefits and challenges of combining AI with human creativity in architecture and urban planning?
  • How can AI help cities achieve sustainable and efficient architectural and urban development, especially those less advanced in AI?

Therefore, we kindly encourage all teaching staff, especially Ph.D. candidates and others interestedto participate and significantly contribute by submitting an abstract of a paper or a poster at the email address ipau.fa@uni-pr.edu.
