Description of the programme:

The Institute of Architecture offers the BA degree to design the local and global built environments with the focus on an artistic architectural approach provided through a liberal arts education. Students develop design skills by thinking through the design process in workshops and through interactive creative techniques. The programme combines individual creativity with a knowledge of technical skills, analysis of design problems, development of communication techniques, which facilitate students in expanding their creative skills in designing interiors or buildings in the context of environmental design and architecture. Some historical and theoretical design subjects are related to a wide range of architectural and urban approaches, others focus on the relationship between the user and the building, the function and the form. The final design project demonstrates that students are able to design a complex urban building in an architecturally creative style.
